New Painting

I haven't been well of late so during my recovery I was able to paint a canvas. I sketched the design a while ago and I was really pleased with the way it turned out. Below you can see the sketch and the painting.

Dot Matrix

Thought I would make a little design today. I managed to get my nickname printed of on a dot matrix printer. I really like how the ink has bleeded into the thin paper.

Eyes

I seem to have an eye fascination of late and this is a little design I came up with.

Sofia's 1st Birthday

Our little baby Sofia celebrated her first birthday. A fantastic day enjoyed by family and close friends ( Thank you to everyone who sent cards and gifts). It's been the quickest year I have ever experienced. The most enjoyable and tiresome ha ha.
Here is a couple of pictures of my little angel.

Baby Evan

A very good friend of mine ( Gordon Rankine ) saw the birth of his first child this year. Gordon asked me if I would paint him a portrait of little Evan. I told him it would be a honour.
The painting was done on canvas using acrylic paints. I'm a great fan of Paul Gauguin and his style of using thick black lines was an inspiration.

Inspiration

Throughout the years, there have been many people who have creatively influenced me. I made this poster as a thank you for inspiring me. If you have ever done this sort of thing, you will know that you will always forget someone and I can assure you I have. Stephen King comes to mind.
