Dot Matrix

Thought I would make a little design today. I managed to get my nickname printed of on a dot matrix printer. I really like how the ink has bleeded into the thin paper.

I seem to have an eye fascination of late and this is a little design I came up with.

Sofia's 1st Birthday

Our little baby Sofia celebrated her first birthday. A fantastic day enjoyed by family and close friends ( Thank you to everyone who sent cards and gifts). It's been the quickest year I have ever experienced. The most enjoyable and tiresome ha ha.
Here is a couple of pictures of my little angel.

Baby Evan

A very good friend of mine ( Gordon Rankine ) saw the birth of his first child this year. Gordon asked me if I would paint him a portrait of little Evan. I told him it would be a honour.
The painting was done on canvas using acrylic paints. I'm a great fan of Paul Gauguin and his style of using thick black lines was an inspiration.

new website

At last my website is now uploaded. Make sure you take a look ( shallowskies ). I'd like to say thanks to Gordon Rankine who played a massive and vital part in getting my website up and running. It's been a while since I last posted something on the blog. I have been busy designing my new website which you can view in the near future. Down below is my new logo.

Casa Patrick

This is a logo I designed for another holiday home and will appear on the Casa Patrick website.

My brother (BK) decided that his business needed a new corporate identity. He wanted this new branding to feature on his website and stationery. Below are some examples of my finished designs in a variety of different formats: a letterhead, business card and blog top header.

Casa Susan

This is another sample of my work - a logo for a holiday home for rent in Spain. This will be used on the Casa Susan website.

Liam's 30th Birthday

One of my good friends celebrated his 30th birthday last Friday. A great night was enjoyed by all. A while back, Liam asked me if I would design the invitations for him. He wanted something different and this is what I made for him.

Sofia

To celebrate the birth of my daughter I created these two designs. The first one I made from an ink study then I used photoshop for the finishing touches. The second is a painting on canvas that I created from a photograph my brother had taken on the day of her birth. Cheers BK.
